Asian Salad & Dressing

Is there anything better than an Asian Salad? It is definitely one of our favorites. This homemade dressing is the perfect combo for this unique yet tasty dish. What’s great about this dish is that it supports both vegan and flexitarian diets. If you’re not ready to give up meat just yet, you can add a protein of your choice to this salad, too. Don’t forget to toss in the crispy noodles at the end!


For the Salad:
2 SweeterSorts tangerines, peeled and sectioned
1 avocado
1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup crispy noodles

For the Dressing:
2 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
3/4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. dry mustard


1.Combine all the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl and mix well.

2.Peel and section the tangerines. Set aside. Peel and pit the avocados and thinly slice. Set aside.

3.Add the lettuce, tangerine segments, avocados, sliced almonds and crispy noodles. Drizzle with the dressing. Serve immediately.
